Guinness World Records new statement On Hilda Baci HILDA BACI Guinness World Records has released an official statement following the recent feat achieved by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci. Baci, a Nigerian and an Akwa Ibom State native, surpassed the record for the longest cooking time by an individual, with a 100-hour record time. Baci beat Indian chef, Lata Tondon, who had completed the task in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 secs in 2019. Data from the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) showed that 57.39 million customers’ accounts have been linked to their BVNs as at April 8. The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, (MDCAN) has opposed the bill seeking to compel newly trained doctors to work for five years in the country before being granted qualifying licence to seek greener pastures elsewhere. The proposed legislation which has passed the second reading at the lower chamber of the National Assembly is to discourage doctors from leaving the country in droves and heightening the brain drain scourge.
